Part 12
Sorry, this was kind of rushed, hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it though. It wouldn't let me post all the previous chapters, so I'm only posting Part 12, which should have all the other chapters anyway.

Part 13

<At USJ>
“We have a new member with us today!” Midorinu said. Everyone cheered, and introductions were made. “Yoroshiku onegaishimasu” I bowed.

“Okay, so we’re going to start by getting into pairs…”

“I want to be with Hikaru!” Yabu interrupted.

“And I’ll go with Shige” Kusano added

“Boku wa Koyama-kun to issho” Taiyou yelled, just as excited

“And since Akanishi-kun and Kamenashi-kun are together, that leaves Shoon with Sayuko-chan” Midorinu concluded.

I turned to Shoon, “Yoroshiku onegaishimasu”

“Un, same here”

“Okay, first up. We’re going on a scavenger hunt!~” Midorinu explained. “From this hat, each group is going to draw a piece of paper. ON that piece of paper is the thing you have to do in order to win. The winning teams will be able to go on the first ride”

“Okay…YOSHA!~” were heard from all the groups

“Ready…GO!” Midorinu started the hunt as soon as each group got their paper.

Shoon opened the paper that was folded in half Find someone to give you their business card

“YOSH! An easy one!” I exclaimed, relieved.

“Easy? Most staff are hard to find, though”

“Well, that weird lady didn’t say we can’t split up. What’s your number?”

“Hah? We can’t split up! That’s why we’re in pairs!” Shoon wanted to spend some time alone with me…

“Do you want to ride or not?! I don’t know about you, but I didn’t come here to run around like an idiot”

“Fine, we’ll split” He took my phone in exchange for his and we saved each other’s numbers

“Sumimasen, I’m kind of lost, can you give me the directions to the Jaw Ride?” I asked in English. Luckily for me, the staff member could understand English but can’t speak it. After trying to explain to me in Japanese without success, he gave me a business card, “Call this if you need directions to other places”

“Moshi moshi?”

“Ne, meet me at the place we split. I got one” I said in perfect Japanese.

“Sugoi! Sasuga Sayu-chan! Hai, I’ll be right there!” and his panting from running was heard.

“Well, I DID say it was easy deshou?” I smirked

“Ha~i, gomen for underestimating you” and we both laughed and hung up.

We ran back to the place we’re supposed to meet. Yes, no one’s there yet. We found the weird lady, aka Midorinu, and showed her our result. She collected our slip and the card. “Yoku dekimshita”

“Nan dakke?” Hikaru asked, crowding Yabu to see the slip, What is the name of the staff who has worked here for 50 years?

“YOSH! Ne, let’s go on a short ride while we’re at it!”

“What a great idea, Hikaru! Ne, let’s go to that one, since there are staff members there too!”

“What three animals can be face-painted?” Kusano read aloud. Both boys looked at each other and started screaming.

“Face-painting! I want one of a tiger!”

“Me too!” Shige responded

“Then I want an elephant!”

“Me too!”

“I don’t want an elephant, actually. They’re kind of boring. I want a cheetah”

“Me too!”

“SHIGE! STOP COPYING ME!”

“What’s wrong with liking the same animals as you?” Shige searched frantically for a random tourist, “Ne! Could I like the same animals as him? Could I?”

“Hai…” the passersby all answered an walked away suspiciously.

“Mommy! There’s the face-painting place, let’s go!” a little boy whined.

Shige and Kusano forgot about their argument and ran like there ain’t no tomorrow toward the booth together.

“Ne, Koyama-kun! What did we get?”

“Eetooo….” Koyama unfolded the piece of paper. “Find three people who has heard of Ya-Ya-yah and watches the show regularly” he said

“YATTA~ We got the easiest one! Of course everyone watches that show!” Taiyou proceeded to stop everyone he could, and he found out that not everyone likes or has heard of Ya-Ya-yah. (Mayo comments: *sad-face*WHY doesn’t everyone like Ya-Ya-yah?!*mood boosted by listening to the JE songs that are playing*)

<Akame>

“Ne, Kame, let’s just ride a couple rides and not ride with the rest of the people. After all, two people has to sacrifice, and we could help everyone out by not riding”

“Good idea”

Kame and Akanishi started lining up for the rides they want to ride the most.

“YABU” someone called behind them. They turned. “KAYLA!”

“What are you doing here?” they asked simultaneously.

“Well, we’re on a TV show right now, searching for the person who’s worked here for 50 years. We’re trying to catch a ride while we’re at it”

Suddenly, Kayla started laughing. “What’s so funny” they asked

“Toosan is the person you’re looking for” She took out her cellphone and dialed her father’s number. “Can you come to the Jaw Ride, toosan?....Un, arigatou~”

Two minutes later, an old man came toward the three. “You wanted to see me?”

“Anou, what’s your name?”

“Hahahaaa, my name is Kida Shingo”

“Hajime mashite” the two boys bowed. Mr. Kida chuckled and walked away. “Your last name is Kida? OMG, no wonder you’re so cute” Yabu said after Mr. Kida walked away.

Hikaru and Kayla laughed, “Kankenee deshou”

The three of them returned to the place they split up into groups.

“Iyaaa, we didn’t get to ride, ne, but seeing Kayla and getting our answer was even better” They found out only Shoon and Sayuko were back.

“Three animals, three animals……..” the two boys kept on running from place to place within the booth to find their answer.

“AH, it WAS tiger, elephant and cheetah”

“Awww, why didn’t we just head back when we had those three animals in mind?! I swear, we would’ve been back by now” Kusano whined.

“Stop being such a little kid! There’s nothing you could do now. Let’s go back”

The two boys ran back quickly, hoping they weren’t too late for the rides. They were the third to arrive.

Both Koyama and Taiyou’s phones vibrated, signifying a text message.

Three groups have finished. You’re fighting for last place

The two looked at each other. “YABAI! Let’s go!”

“Ne, ne, ne! Do you like Ya-Ya-yah?” they kept asking. Finally, after about 45 minutes, they were able to find three people. “Let’s go back!” they said as Taiyou ran to the meeting place, the three Ya-Ya-yah lovers chasing after Taiyou screaming out of excitement that Taiyou talked to them, and Koyama panting behind being out of shape.

<Akame>

Three groups have finished. You’re fighting for last place

The two boys cracked up. “Yeah, whatever. Let’s head back, Kame.”

“Yeah” and the two decided to close up, since they’ve been on two rides already. They hadn’t even looked at what their quest was.

When everyone was all gathered, Midorinu asked, “Kamenashi-kun, Akanashi-kun, what did you find?”

“We couldn’t find anything” they lied

“Uso deshou, yours was the easiest”

Kame took out the paper from his pocket, Name three things you could do at USJ. Kame and Akanishi laughed nervously, not sure what their punishment would be.

“You didn’t look deshou” Midorinu rubbed in, “Everyone did their part and they’re younger than you. You guys were supposed to set an example for them”

“GOMEN NASAI!” Kame and Akanishi bowed down.

“Jyaaa, Kame and Akanishi, you can’t ride, gomen” and everyone went inside.

When they all disappeared, Kame and Akanishi burst out laughing.
