For those waiting for Hana Kimi, I've decided that I won't update any more until I get more comments for this. I just updated yesterday cause I haven't updated for a long time. Right now, I don't even have 3 readers for this one >.< So that's my plan. If you want to read Hana Kimi, better read this one first. Gomen~

“Eh?!” Sayuko couldn’t believe what she heard.

“Eh ja ne~ yo! Try saying it!” Yabu said jokingly.

“O-o-o…….re wa Iwata desu” Sayuko barely said out loud.

“Louder and more confident” Shoon said.

“O-ore wa Iwata desu” Sayuko repeated.

“Iya, YELL IT!” Hikaru demonstrated.

“ORE WA IWATA DESU” Sayuko yelled as loud as she dared to.

“Yosh, next lesson is this.” Yuto handed Sayuko a piece of paper with a bunch of words with terms boys use conversationally written on it. “Memorize all these by tomorrow. Dekiru deshou”

“Un. Ganbarimasu”

“Oh, by the way, make your voice a little lower” Taiyo said

“It’s the same as yours, Taiyo” Shoon said, laughing at how Taiyo said that even though only Shoon himself has broken his voice. Turning to me, Shoon said, “But you do have a name change. It’s now Iwata Shingo. It’s easy enough to remember, right? That’s probably why Johnny-san said that name”

<The next day…Shokura>

“Kyou no gesuto wa…” Koyama started off

“YA-YA-YAH!!!” Nakamaru finished as Ya-Ya-yah made their appearance.

“Kyou kara we have a new member in Ya-Ya-yah.”

“Sou dayo ne. His name is Iwata Shingo!~” Koyama said as Ya-Ya-yah lined up in between him and Nakamaru.

“Yoroshiku onegaishimasu”

“How do you feel about a new member in Ya-Ya-yah?” Nakamaru asked

“Well, he’s shy and inexperienced right now, demo daijoubu. He’ll get used to it soon” Shoon replied, laughing.

“Okay, jaa, stand-by onegaishimasu” Nakamaru said

“It’s what we’ve practiced yesterday” Shoon whispered to me.

After the performance was over, there was the talk. Although I had no idea what I was doing, Shoon was leading me and making sure I didn’t look too stupid. I took a seat next to him on the bench.

“Okay, so we’d like to know what sempais you admire. Who do you admire, Yabu? Is it KAT-TUN’s Kamenashi-kun?” Koyama asked.

“Um, it’s Kinki Kids’ Domoto Koichi-kun”

“Ahh, so I remembered wrong.” Nakamaru said, with a nod from Yabu. Nakamaru laughed, “You’re not supposed to nod! You’re supposed to say something like ‘It’s okay, you’re not me so you wouldn’t know’ darou? Okay, Hikaru, what about you? Who do you admire?” Nakamaru muttered "mendokuse~naa" just loud enough to be heard.

“Kinki Kids’ Domoto Tsuyoshi-kun desu” piped the boy with the highest voice.

“Ahh, two Kinki Kids admirers, huh” Koyama observed

“Taiyo, what about you?” Nakamaru moved on to the next boy

“Umm, TOKIO’s Nagase-kun and SMAP’s Shingo-kun desu”

“And Shoon?”

“Arashi’s Matsumoto Jun-kun”

“And what about you, Iwata-kun”

“Anou…” I started out, nervous. “Eeetooo…..” I couldn’t get myself to start. Who do I admire? How should I know? I just started like three months ago! I don’t even know anyone by name yet! I looked at all of them for help, and I saw that they all just looked back at me patiently.

“Anou, who I admire?” I asked, to confirm and dropping a hint that I don’t know my answer.

“Hai” Koyama and Nakamaru responded “Who do you admire, Iwata-kun?” not getting the hint at all.

“Eetooo…” I looked down at my hands in my lap, unsure of what to do.

“Do you have one yet?” Shoon asked me quietly, suddenly aware of the fact that I just joined.

Suddenly, I made up my mind. I thought to myself Who has been helping me so much recently? It was one person and one person only. And I admire him for being the one to go out of his way to take care of me. “I admire him” pointing at Shoon.

“Ehhhhhh?!?!?!” was all I hear next, in addition to the audience screaming for Shoon. He himself turned red at the comment, to which the audience cheered again.

I looked at him and regretted what I said. “Gomen”

“Nande? Why do you admire him? Aren’t you guys in the same group?”

“Well, since I joined, he was the only one who went out of his way to take care of me. Him and that one guy at NEWS’ concert…what’s his name…?” I explained.

“Kamenashi-kun dayo” Shoon whispered to me

“Yeah, Kamenashi-kun.” Then, to make my point, I said, “See, he’s the one who’s been dropping me hints and stuff about what to do. Kamenashi-kun also took care of me and made sure I was occupied”

“Ahhh, then it’s reasonable to admire them ne” Koyama agreed.

<After Shokura>

“Shin-chan, were you serious about that, or were you just saying it?” Shoon asked me

“About what?”

“You admiring me”

“Oh. Well that BECAME true. Wouldn’t you do the same, admire someone who’s been helping you and wondering what prompted them to do so?”

“Well…. Yeah I guess.”

“Anou…. What’s your name?” I asked, ashamed I had to ask.

Smiling, he replied “Shoon da”

“Kokokara mo yoroshiku!” I said, smiling and placing my hand on his shoulder to reassure him and telling him not to be shy.

“Un, jyaa, let’s go eat dinner together with Kamenashi-kun tonight” Shoon invited.

“Eh, honto?” I asked.

“Un.” Shoon turned around and grabbed Kame. “Won’t you take us to dinner and celebrate the new member?” Shoon asked, sure that Kame will say yes.

“Sure” Kame smiled, glad that he could be of use to make me be occupied. I laughed, and Shoon winked at me. “Wait for me here. I’ll be taking another 10 minutes ne” Kame went away. Shoon and I smiled once more at each other and waited for Kame to join us.
