FANFIC UPDATE

Sorry this is short and bad; I haven't gotten over Shoon yet, though it is better. Thanks for everyone's concern; I was pretty depressed. I'm surprised I even updated; I guess two of my teachers were nice in letting me have some free time, huh.

Anyway, tonight's the Olympics. Olympics for me = gymnastics = acrobats (do you know where I'm going? lol) = Shoon = he'd better stay in the jimusho. Yes, I'm thinking he's probably staying at least for a little while longer, since he was in the March 2010 Duet, WHICH I WANT. He looked SO HELLA KAKKOII there! *writes the magazine down* Oh, well, I'll just go buy it if they still have it when I go back to Taiwan in the summer xD

Part 22

            As we were hiding behind a dark corner, we started strategizing what to do for the remainder of the time to avoid getting caught. We were surrounded by blocks of concrete, so there was no way of escaping if an oni comes along.

            “Okay, so no one gets left behind. Even if our risk of getting caught ourselves is much greater than saving them, we’ll still try to help each other until the person we’re helping gets caught” I said

            “Un, okay”

            “We’ll rest from time to time, but try not to waste your energy ne. Conserve your energy” I said, looking at Shoon worriedly since he was the only one who can’t stand super long distances. Shoon was trying hard to catch his breath, so he just nodded.

            “Daijoubu? Is it okay if we run out now, or do you want to wait longer?”

            “Well, how are we going to do this? I mean, wouldn’t we be easier to catch if we’re all together?” Tegoshi asked.

            “We would, if we’re traveling together. But we’re each getting one of these” I pulled red chips out of my pocket and a GPS-looking device and handed each boy one and kept one for myself, “We’re not gonna know where all the onis are, but we’re gonna know where the other two people are. If one of us sees an oni, as long as it’s safe, just say about how far away the onis are. That way, we’ll know not to go there. If you’re in trouble, press this red button and we’ll think of a way to save you. If one person is in trouble, the other two can talk without the third person’s thing making sound if you press the number of the person you want to talk to. Shoon you’re one; Tegoshi you’re two; and I’m three. That way, we can work together to win Onigokko. Put the chip in your pocket and zip it up. If you lose the chip, we can’t help you. The only way you can get help is seeing who is where and hide with them”

            “Cool device!” Tegoshi said a bit too loudly. An oni heard and ran toward us.

            “Tegoshi, hurry, jump on this and run! Shoon you’re next” I said quickly, referring to the blocks of concrete. After Shoon had run up, the oni was within 20 feet from us. I looked back, then walked a few steps toward the oni who was ten feet away. I faced the boxes, with Shoon and Tegoshi yelling at me to hurry. The oni was right behind me; another step and he could reach me. I quickly did a round-off and ended up on the 3-ft tall box. Without taking a break, I placed both hands on the next box and did another flip. Then, I reached the top after yet another few flips. I ended up in between Tegoshi and Shoon and started running. The first step I took, the oni was already at the top and could almost reach me.

            I grabbed Shoon and Tegoshi by their wrists, “Let’s go” and when we all started to run, I let go. After three minutes, the oni was still right behind us. Shoon was lagging behind, “Sayuko” he panted.

            I looked back and grabbed his wrist, “Tegoshi, go on! We’ll find you later” and Tegoshi slowed down a little and turned a different direction, making the oni chase after him instead of me and Shoon. Tegoshi led the oni to tire by running just right in front of him, making the oni think he could reach Tegoshi. It was awhile before the oni lagged behind and stopped running to catch his breath. Because he stopped running, Tegoshi ran to safety. Tegoshi beeped me, “Not surrounded.”

            Meanwhile, another oni came into view and I could tell he was Keith even though he and the other onis are wearing the same clothes. I knew if he caught up to us, Shoon will be caught so while Keith was still far away, I asked Shoon, “Can you climb up trees?”

            “Eh?”

            “JUST ANSWER THE QUESTION!!!”

            “Yes”

            “Okay, there’s a big tree there. Climb that, or any other big tree, to the highest point you can climb to. As tall as Keith is, he can’t climb trees to save his life. GO!” I left him, running in the direction between him and Keith.

            “What about you?” he yelled, knowing that I can’t outrun my brother forever, especially when I could barely outrun him.

            I only waved his question away in an attempt to save energy.

A/N: SAYUKO IS SO NICE!~ KYAAA~ SHOON IS SOOOOOOOOOOOO CARING AND KAKKOII "What about you?" And he can climb trees? I wonder if he can in real life; it would make my LIFE if he really could. Wonder when he'll have the chance to give her the necklace xP

...you can tell shoon is a sprinter, not a long distance runner so climbing a tree is a good idea...i wonder when he will confess..

wow Sayuko is so good at onigokko ne~ (for now anyway), maybe hikaru should have been mentored by her and he wouldnt fail so much XDDDDDDDDDD or he can hide with me in a dark confined space...
