“So even the boys from St. Peter’s will attend?” Cassidy mused aloud.
“Yes, Cassidy. They will” answered the oldest of three dorm leaders. “They always do, remember?”
Yeah, but what’s the event this time? It can’t be running every time!” Tiffany pointed out.
“Well, how about a dance-off? I mean, we are an artsy school…” Cassidy suggested, ready for her idea to be rejected again.
The other two looked at each other and agreed. “Yeah, that’s a good idea!” they said as they dismissed each other to tell their dorms of the change in activity for the festival.
<Meanwhile…>
Ayana, Miyuki and Hikari were racing to see who’s the most likely to win the sprinting races again this year.
“Ready…..GO!” they said as they sprinted off. They were too absorbed in their own entertainment that they didn’t see Hikaru come out of his room, which is right where they’re headed.
“ITAI” Hikaru yelled, a little too low for a girl.
“WHAT’S UP WITH YOU?!” the four yelled at each other. The three girls yelled at Hikaru cause of his voice change, and Hikaru, the victim of a hard fall, yelled at the girls for not watching where they’re going.
They glared at each other and walked away. Secretly, the girls high-fived for succeeding in hurting Hikaru.
<The festival>
“Okay, so the rules are that wel will hold a girls’ dance-off comopetition first, followed by the boys’ competition, and we will choose the winners last” the principal announced.
Hikaru was dragged on by Misaki Nami, who knew nothing about what happened earlier. At first, Hikaru was reluctant, but he gave in whe Sayuri came up to him and dragged him onstage.
“Yosh, this is my chance to show off and tempt her to start gymnastics again” Hikaru was glad Shoon taught him a few acrobatic tricks before he moved to America and was still in Ya-Ya-yah. He decided to tempt Sayuri back to gymnastics by showing her his acrobats.
Being the only girls to have danced long periods of time, Hikaru and Mai were the only ones left in the competition after 30 minutes. Suddenly, Hikaru’s pains came back. He didn’t want to let himself down to win Sayuri’s heart, so he kept going.
An hour after the girls’ competition had started, Hikaru grabbed his left leg and bent down. Everyone cheered cause they thought he was going to do a backflip again. Only Chinen and Sayuri noticed the facial expression Hikaru had. Knowing that, they both ran up the stage, despite the fact that people were trying to stop them.
“Daijyoubu, Hikaru-kun?” Chinen asked his struggling friend.
“Un, I’m still in the competition, right?” Hikaru asked, looking at Sayuri’s reaction.
“No you’re hurt. I’m not going to let you continue.” Chinen replied, although he knew of Hikaru’s reason of wanting to continue.
“Demo, I’m still moving” complained the injured dancer.
“Let’s go the nurse’s office” Sayuri said, which made Hikaru stop moving and lean on Chinen for support as he, Chinen and Sayuri made their way to the nurse’s office.
<At the nurse’s>
“Is Hikaru going to be alright?” Chinen asked the nurse.
“Hai, demo as of right now, he needs to spend a night here. Thanks, Sayu-chan and Chinen-kun, for bringing him here.”
“Betsuni. As long as he’s okay.” Sayuri said, making Hikaru’s eyes well up with tears. Sayuri and Chinen made their way out the door.
As soon as the door was closed, the nurse grinned and said to Hikaru, “You’re not a girl, are you?” When Hikaru didn’t reply, she added, “It’s ok to tell me. I won’t tell anyone. I just wanted to let you know if you want any boy stuff, just tell me and I’ll get them for you” the nurse reassured him.
“Arigatou” Hikaru said. “Well, I just wanna ask if that’s why you said I have to spend the night in the infirmary”
“Well, partially. Your back needs to be supported when you sleep for now. You also have a broken leg. You don’t want everyone to see, right? Girls pride, Hikaru”
When Hikaru fell asleep on the bed, Nami came bursting in. Seeing that the nurse was out, she approached the sleeping Hikaru and sat down on the side of the bed. She looked around to see if anyone’s there and seeing that she was alone with Hikaru, she bent down and kissed Hikaru on the forehead, and then saying, “I will always love you like you are my sister. Get well soon, Hika-chan” Then, she left.

“Let’s go!” Aya said to Mai, dragging her away from her studies.
“Go where?”
“Infirmary, deshou? I hate how Hika-chan basically hogged Chinen-sama last night. Didn’t you see? We’re getting our revenge on that cripple!”
Smiling while remember her accompanying Hikaru to the infirmary with Chinen, Mai explained, “He was only helping out his friend. I heard from Chinen-kun himself that he and Hikaru were best friends when they were young and before Hika-chan moved to America”
Aya stopped in her tracks and looked at her best friend in the eye. “He said that to you? Why didn’t he say that to me?”
“Obviously since I call him Chinen-kun and you call him Chinen-sama, that means Chinen-kun and I are closer and meant for each other and…” Mai started to run away from the raging Aya. “HE LIKES ME MORE!” Mai yelled out, knowing that Aya hated hearing that.
“I CAN CALL HIM CHINEN-KUN TOO, BUT I GIVE MORE RESPECT TO HIM SO HE LIKES ME MORE!” Aya yelled back, chasing Mai.
